🌅 6:00 AM – Sunrise Canoe Ride on Meenachil River

Start your day early with a traditional canoe ride arranged by Kuttickattil Homestay.

Enjoy the serene beauty of year-round blooming waterlilies on Meenachil River.

Perfect for photos and birdwatching.

🪷 Note: Unlike Malarikkal’s seasonal bloom, Meenachil river has areas where waterlilies bloom 365 days, thanks to slow-moving, shallow waters.

🍶 7:30 AM – Visit to Coconut Tapping Farm Center

(“Alcohol is injurious to health” we are not Promoting Toddy as an alcoholic drink to viewers But to show the authentic kerala culture and tradition how the toddy is collecting and distributing )

Visit a local toddy tapping site or  coconut tapping unit.

Learn how toddy is collected directly from coconut palms.

Watch toddy being transferred to clay pots, and hear about its distribution to local toddy shops in Kottayam.

🍳 9:00 AM – Traditional Kerala Breakfast

Return to the homestay for a delicious Kerala breakfast.

Possible options: Appam & stew, Puttu & kadala curry, or Idiyappam.

🏊 10:00 AM – Leisure Time at the Pool

Relax by the homestay’s swimming pool.

Enjoy the peaceful garden vibe, sip fresh coconut water, or just unwind.

🚣 12:00 PM – Kayaking Adventure

Set out for a 2-hour kayaking session in the river or nearby canals.

Ideal for adventure lovers — suitable for beginners too.

Life jackets and guides are provided.

Optional Afternoon Add-ons:

Village walk through paddy fields and rubber plantations.

Cooking session at the homestay.

Visit Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls (seasonal) 20 kms or Kumarakom backwaters (30–40 min drive). Or Aruvikkal Waterfalls 18 kms
